Hong Purume

Purume Hong (b. 1966) defines the current era as one in need of healing, conveying messages of recovery through his work in ink landscape painting and art therapy. He expresses the energy of light within the empty spaces left between the shades of ink. In traditional landscape painting, these voids are often understood as spaces for the artist's spirit or contemplation. 홍푸르메(b.1966)는 현시대를 ‘치유가 필요한 시대시대’로 규정하며 치유와 회복의 메시지를 담아 수묵산수화 작업과 미술치료를 병행한다. 그는 먹의 농담 사이로 남겨진 여백의 공간에 빛의 에너지를 표현한다. 산수화에서 전통적으로 작가의 정신이나 사유의 공간으로 이해되는 여백사이에서 포착되는 빛의 형상은 감상자의 몰입을 유도하는 시각 요소이자 일상적인 상념을 지우고 내면을 밝게 비추는 빛의 통로와 같은 역할을 한다.
